Alia Bhatt's 'Raazi' is on its way to become the highest grossing film in her career so far

It's been 17 days since Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal's film 'Raazi' hit theatres and the spy thriller is showing no signs of slowing down. Still holding its position at the box office, filmmaker Meghna Gulzar's 'Raazi' has now entered the 100 crore club.
The film entered rs 4.42 crores on Sunday to make it a grand total of Rs 102. 50 crores at the ticket window. On its way to becoming Alia Bhatt's highest grossing film in her career so far, Raazi is also Vicky Kaushal's first 100 crore hit. Alia Bhatt has previously crossed the 100 crore mark with '2 States' and 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania'. Raazi also holds the fifth spot in the list of highest Bollywood grosser of 2018 after Padmaavat, Baaghi 2, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and Raid and will soon surpass the Ajay Devgn starrer to become grab the fourth spot in the list.
Not just this, after Kangana Ranaut delivering a 100 crore hit with Tanu Weds Manu Returns, Alia Bhatt is the second actress to have joined the club with a women-centric film.

Based on Harinder Sikka’s book 'Calling Sehmat', Raazi is the story of a young Kashmiri girl Sehmat who is married off to a Pakistani Army officer to get information in the times of war. Apart from an impressive storyline, the film also boasts of the talented ensemble including Rajit Kapoor, Shishir Sharma, Soni Razdan, Jaideep Ahlawat and Amruta Khanvilkar in pivotal roles.
