'Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya', 'Road' director Rajat Mukherjee passes away, Manoj Bajpayee pays condolences

Ram Gopal Varma produced Road director Rajat Mukherjee passed away after a prolonged illness. Actor Manoj Bajpayee confirmed the sad news on his Twitter page. He wrote, "My friend and director of Road, Rajat Mukherjee passed away in the early hours today in Jaipur after a long battle with illness!!! Rest in peace Rajat !! Still can’t believe that we will never meet or discuss our work ever again.khush reh jaha bhi reh."

Talking about Road, the film released in 2002 and starred Vivek Oberoi and Antara Mali in the lead roles. Apart from that, Rajat has directed Urmila Matondkar, Fardeen Khan and Sonali Kulkarni starrer Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya which released in 2001.
