National Film Awards: Sridevi's Mom makes Zee Studios proud

It is indeed a proud moment for Zee Studios. The entertainment corporate, which is also associated with cinema, bankrolled the late Sridevi Kapoor’s last big-ticket film Mom. The movie, directed by Ravi Udyawar and produced by Boney Kapoor, got two awards at the 65th National Film Awards ceremony.

Sridevi won the award for Best Actress for Mom, while AR Rahman got it for the Best Background score for the same film. Sujay Kutty, Business Head, Zee Studios, said, “It is an honour for us at Zee Studios to be bestowed with two awards this year for Mom, which is a special film for us. We are excited that our film won in both, Best Actress and Best Background Score categories. This win further motivates us to continue backing content that we believe in.”
