Mohit Suri-Aditya Roy Kapur part ways?

Aditya Roy Kapur, who had a big hit with Aashiqui 2 (2013), always found favour with filmmaker, Mohit Suri. For 10 months, the director-producer and his once-hit actor were trying to collaborate on a love story. And there were challenges around every corner.

First, Kriti Sanon walked out of the project. Then other girls who didn’t wish to team up with ARK reportedly made excuses to duck this one. A source says, “However, Mohit never blinked. He wanted only Aditya to be his leading man. Mohit knows that every actor goes through a hit-and-miss phase. And he was confident that his film would give Aditya the correct positioning.” The source added, “But, two days ago, even Mohit couldn’t handle the actor’s pre-conditions. He reportedly had enough and they decided to part ways.”

It turns out what was originally meant to be a solo-hero project was now to have a second lead as well. Aditya was taken aback and wasn’t too keen to share screen space with Sunny Singh of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety fame. He also wanted the hunt for an A-list heroine to continue before he lent his might to the project. But top actresses are tricky customers. We texted Mohit and Aditya but both of them hadn’t reverted till the time of going to press.
