Mere Naam Tu: First song from Shah Rukh Khan’s 'Zero' to be out tomorrow

Ever since the trailer of Shah Rukh Khan starrer, 'Zero' has released, fans are going crazy over the superstar's unique portrayal of a dwarf man. The film is scheduled for a December 21 release and the makers are leaving no stone unturned in promoting it. 

The actor, on Thursday, announced the release date of the first song from the 'Zero' album on his Twitter handle. Sharing an endearing picture from the song, wherein Bauaa is seen kissing Aafie on her forehead, SRK wrote, "Bauua ka pyaar hai, Aafia ussi ke naam hai"

Director Aanand L Rai wrote, ".@BauuaSingh dil dene mein koi kasar nahin chhodta. Vishwas nahi hota? Kal khud hi dekh lijiye in #MereNaamTu, Zero's first song, launching tomorrow."

Producer and Shah Rukh's wife Gauri Khan also had some interesting things to say about the poster. "What a lovely and gentle expression of love. A kiss on the forehead! Once a designer always a designer though... love the arched window too... #MereNaamTu #Zero," she tweeted.

Composed by Ajay-Atul, crooned by Abhay Jodhapurkar, 'Mere Naam Tu' is penned by Irshad Kamil. The colourful song is picturized against the backdrop of Holi and features splashes of colour and water in the song. Glimpses of the song were seen in the trailer.

'Zero' tells the story about a dwarf man Bauaa, who struggles to find love as he is physically challenged. But fate has altogether different plans for him as during the course of his journey he falls in love with two women, a NASA scientist suffering from cerebral palsy played by Anushka Sharma and a superstar, played by Katrina Kaif.
