During her appearance on Koffee With Karan, Katrina Kaif said that she was looking forward to an invitation to Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's wedding
Much has been written and talked about Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif's hush-hush rivalry. It's believed that Deepika's ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor allegedly cheated on her with Katrina Kaif.
In Neha Dhupia's show 'Vogue BFFs' when Deepika was asked if she would invite Katrina to her wedding, the 'Padmaavat' actor had said a straight, "No".
But, looks like the ice has finally begun to melt. As per a report in SpotboyE, Katrina Kaif has been invited to Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's Mumbai wedding reception on December 1.
But, it's not Deepika who she received it from. Katrina reportedly received the invite from Dulhe raja Ranveer. She is currently filming 'Bharat' with Salman Khan but as per the report, she is trying to work around the schedule to attend the reception.
"Katrina received the invitation four days ago and she is gearing up to attend the event. She has discussed this with Salman Khan and if all goes well, she will walk into the party with the superstar and (Bharat) director Ali Abbas Zafar. She is looking forward to the bash," the source told SpotBoyE.com
The source also added that Deepika and Ranveer are also sending text messages to their colleagues and close friends. "While the actress (Deepika) did not send a text to Katrina, Ranveer ensured that he did," the source was quoted as saying. Not just Katrina, but other Bollywood celebrities have also received the invitations a few days ago and Deepika and Ranveer re making sure that they text them personally as well to join their celebrations."
During her appearance on Koffee With Karan, Katrina Kaif said that she was looking forward to an invitation to Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's wedding but she wasn't sure if she would be invited.
"I'm really excited about all these weddings. I want to wear nice clothes and attend... I might not be invited for any but that's a separate thing. But in my mind I'm looking forward to an invitation," she had said at the time.
