Katrina Kaif, Ali Abbas Zafar to reunite for superhero action franchise?

Katrina Kaif is one of the most sought after actresses in Bollywood who has woven a different path for herself. The actress who was last seen opposite Salman Khan in Ali Abbas Zafar's Bharat is all set to collaborate with the director yet again for a superhero film. 

According to a report, there is a chance of Ali and Katrina would come together for this superhero film which will see Katrina, who is a fitness freak, perform never-seen-before stunts. A Mumbai Mirror report quoted a source saying, "Ali will be directing this film and is currently finalising the script. They have been planning this project for a while now. It’s an exciting project for both as it will showcase never-seen-before stunts in Bollywood. Katrina is currently at her fittest and regular workouts will come in handy. The idea is to spin a franchise."

Ali is said to have plans to make it into a superhero action franchise. He will be writing, directing and producing the film, which is expected to go on floors this year but the final date is yet to be confirmed. If this film goes on the floor, it would be the fourth collaboration between Ali and Katrina after their 2011 film Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, 2017 film Tiger Zinda hai and 2019 film Bharat. On the work front, Katrina has a few coveted projects in her kitty. She will be seen opposite Akshay Kumar in Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi. This is also an action film and will hit theatres on March 27 this year.
