If that wasn’t enough, the romcom has set records on the satellite circuits as well. The film has seen a huge premiere for itself on the small screen too, as is evident from the impressions that it has fetched in the first viewing.
In fact, what is all the more remarkable is the fact that Kartik’s Luka Chuppi has opened better than even Ranbir Kapoor’s Sanju, Ranveer Singh’s Simmba and Vicky Kaushal’s Uri: The Surgical Strike on the small screen, hence reaffirming the rising star status of the actor.
The entertainer has managed the best start ever for a film’s satellite premiere in 2019, what with the viewership turning out to be just behind Total Dhamaal, 2.0 (Hindi) and leaving behind the likes of Pad Man, Raid and Race 3 in the satellite arena.
