'Kaalakaandi' song: Check out Saif Ali Khan's trippy avatar as 'Swagpur Ka Chaudhary'

Saif Ali Khan, who is known for his choice of unconventional roles, will next be seen in Akshat Verma’s Kaalakaandi. While the film has already intrigued the audience with its quirky trailer, the new song from the thrilling dark comedy is all set to bring in a trippy New Year.

Titled 'Swagpur Ka Chaudhary', the song is edgy and psychedelic and features the entire cast of the film showing off their dance moves as they groove in swag. With its desi lyrics and angrezi music beats, the song is sure to be a chartbuster. Sung and written by Akshay Verma and composed by Sameer Uddin, 'Swagpur ka Chaudhary' is a perfect fusion of breakbeat and funk rock with a suave video.

Talking about this peppy song, Saif said in the song launch event,”I remember Akshat telling me leave the song to young people. This song has a free spirit. I will just a call it an interesting song which captures Mumbai people.” 

Meanwhile, Kaalakaandi stars Saif along with an interesting ensemble of Deepak Dobriyal, Vijay Raaz, Kunaal Roy Kapur, Sobhita Dhulipala, Akshay Oberoi, Isha Talwar, Shenaz Treasury, Shivam Patil, Amyra Dastur and Neil Bhoopalam. The film revolves around various individuals and the events around them as they collide with each other on one fateful night. Kaalakaandi is set to release on 12th January 2018.
