Judi Dench to visit India to promote 'Victoria and Abdul' with Ali Fazal

Veteran English actress Judi Dench will visit India later this year for the promotions of her film Victoria And Abdul, which is expected to have a grand premiere in Mumbai and Jaipur, reports Mid-Day. The film also stars Ali Fazal, Micahel Gambon, Eddie Lizard and Simon Callow. 

A source is quoted saying by the tabloid, "The cast is expected in the country for the premiere after the film's UK release on September 8. Top choreographers are being appointed to put together a traditional Rajasthani song and dance performance. The team will get a taste of local Rajasthani cuisine."

Customised invitation cards like the ones seen at royal weddings will be made for the invitees. The film based on Sharbani's book by the same name is about Dench as Queen Victoria striking an unlikely friendship with a young Indian clerk played by Ali Fazal.
