Jab Harry Met Sejal: I gave Shah Rukh sir the title but I am not doing a cameo, says Ranbir Kapoor

Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma starrer, directed by Imtiaz Ali has finally found its title. The film is called Jab Harry Met Sejal and will now release on August 4, a week ahead of its original release date.

SRK had previously announced that there were a few titles that they were considering. One from Karan Johar, one from Alia Bhatt and one from Ranbir Kapoor. Finally, they chose Ranbir's suggestion.

Ranbir admits, "I would like to tell everyone that it was me who gave them this title. We were all shooting at Mehboob Studios when I caught up with them and met Shah Rukh sir with Imtiaz and Anushka. I told them to keep the film's name Jab Harry Met Sejal."

He further adds, "They all laughed at me saying ki bakwaas title hai. But eventually aaj subah maine dekha ki they have used my title on the poster."

Shah Rukh has tweeted saying that he won't give Ranbir his 5000 bucks. And on knowing this,  Ranbir said, "I am coming to Mannat after this song launch, Shah Rukh sir.  Keep my 5000 ready. In cash."

Also, there have been a lot of talks about Ranbir doing a cameo in the SRK - Anushka starrer.  But he dismissed such news and said," I would have been happy if there was a cameo for me in the film.  But sadly, I don't have a role in Imtiaz Ali film. The only contribution I have is in giving the title. And also, this combo of Imtiaz - Shah Rukh sir coming together is something that I am most looking forward to."
