Is this Ranveer Singh’s new way to promote Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy?

In another episode of what seems to be a ‘Guess who’, Ranveer Singh almost topped the list since he was spotted in public, covering his face. The actor who's soon to attain the tag of a superstar, went to watch audiences’ reaction to his latest release Simmba, but ensured that he covered himself enough to not be recognized. However our intelligent paparazzi caught hold of him, and he even made gestures towards the camera which meant ‘All’s well’.

Interestingly, Ranveer will be seen covering his face in a similar manner in his upcoming movie Gully Boy, which co-stars Alia Bhatt and is directed by Zoya Akhtar. In the trailer announcement video of he film, Ranveer is seen covering his face with a mask along with his rapper friend. That scene still has left us wondering why would the actor do that.

Ranveer however made the same gesture in real life, at the event, which leaves us thinking, if this is his way of promoting Gully Boy? If it is, then what is he hiding under the mask?

Produced by Excel Entertainment and co-written by Reema Kagti, Gully Boy also stars Kalki Koechlin and Vijay Raaz in pivotal roles. Apart from Gully Boy, Ranveer will be seen playing Kapil Dev in ’83, which will be directed by Ek Tha Tiger helmer Kabir Khan, and Karan Johar’s upcoming much-awaited directorial Takht, that will also star Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Anil Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor and Sonchiriya actress Bhumi Pednekar.

Ranveer was recently in the news for being spotted with his wife Deepika Padukone after they came back from their Sri Lankan honeymoon.
