Ranveer Singh continues to work in spite of a shoulder injury.

'Padmaavat' actor had injured his shoulder during a football match but continues to shoot for Zoya Akhtar's 'Gully Boy' in Mumbai.  The actor's spokesperson confirmed in an official statement, "Ranveer Singh has injured his shoulder during a football match and has been advised not to overstrain it for at least one month. Ranveer is, however, not taking any breaks and will continue shooting for 'Gully Boy' as per schedule."

But according to SpotboyE report, the actor will have to back out of Indian Premiere League's opening night. Ranveer was all set to set the stage on fire with his energetic act along with Varun Dhawan, Jacqueline Fernandez and Parineeti Chopra on April 7th. Ranveer's spokesperson had earlier hinted that "the actor is in consultation with the doctors and who will advice him, in a day or two, on whether he would able to perform at this year's IPL opening ceremony in which he is doing the finale act."

His docs have now advised him not to perform and the organisers are already in talks with Hrithik Roshan. The actor is known for his fabulous dance moves and will be the perfect alternative after Ranveer Singh's exit.

Hrithik Roshan had earlier performed at IPL opening ceremony in Kolkata in 2015 and now with Ranveer Singh's last minute exit due to injury, Super 30 actor is likely to add star power this year as well.
