Inspired by Ranveer Singh? Watch Deepika Padukone slay it as a cop

Rohit Shetty already has three films based on cops, under his name, including Singham, Simmba and Veer Suryavanshi.

And now, since the filmamker in a recent interview had revealed that he is interested in making a cop universe, we have a quick suggestion for him.

We have an actress in mind who can slay it as a cop just like 'Simmba' Ranveer Singh!

Not are we just the suggesting a name, but also showing an audition tape! 

And who are we talking about? None other than Deepika Padukone! 

Yes, the actress had played a cop in one of the ads for a travel ticketing website that she endorses, and we wonder where she took inspiration from!  

Deepika as a cop, does an excellent job, much like Simmba. She even has quirky moves and dialogues just like Ranveer Singh in the film.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Deepika Padukone will next be seen in Meghna Gulzar's film Chhapaak, opposite Vikrant Massey. 

With the film, Deepika will also foray into production. Chhapaak is based on the life of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal.

Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan-starrer Simmba, on the other hand, is now a part of the Rs 100 crore club. The film which received mixed reviews has been directed by Rohit Shetty.
