If Priyanka Chopra's aunt had her way, the desi girl might have been married to TV actor Mohit Raina today

Priyanka Chopra's family might have given a thumbs up to her current boyfriend Nick Jonas but there was a time when a certain Indian TV actor was her family's favourite. A few years ago Priyanka had reportedly told 'Zoom' that her maasi (aunt) wanted to fix her match with 'Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev' fame Mohit Raina. 

Her aunt was apparently mighty impressed by the actor, who she felt was a "well-behaved, honest, young man who is also an exceptionally good actor". 

We don't blame her because Mohit's earnest portrayal of Lord Shiva had earned him a special place in the hearts of several Indian mothers during the course of the show. Every other woman, who was looking for a suitable groom for her daughter, saw their son-in-law in Mohit. 

He is known to be a complete recluse and despite his exceptional good looks, he has only been linked to one actress so far - Mouni Roy, who played the role of his on-screen wife in the mythological show. It's no surprise then that Priyanka's aunt thought he would be a suitable match for her. 

When the entertainment channel told Mohit about this, he was left speechless. We wonder how would Mouni react to this.
