ICYMI: Sanjay Dutt's emotional message on Sunil Dutt's death anniversary will leave you teary-eyed!

Sanjay Dutt, on Friday, took to his social media account to share a throwback picture of himself with his late father, veteran actor Sunil Dutt. It was Sunil Dutt's 12th death anniversary. Remembering his father, Sanjay Dutt, wrote an emotional message alongside the picture. He captioned the picture writing, "Wish you could see me as a free man. Love you… Miss you."

Those who've come in late, Sunil Dutt passef away in the year 2005, following a heart attack. Sanjay Dutt was convicted of possession of illegal arms, in the 1993 Mumbai blasts. The actor was released in February 2016 from the Yerwada Jail in Pune after he had served a term of 5 years in jail. But his father had already left for heavenly abode by then. That's why Sanjay Dutt wishes that his father could have seen him as a free man. 

About three weeks back, it was Sanjay's mother Nargis Dutt's death anniverwsay. Sanjay had shared a picture with her then, and captioned it writing, "All that I am is because of you. I miss you!"

Meanwhile, the makers of Sanjay Dutt's biopic, titled Sanju, on Saturday, released a new poster, introducing Paresh Rawal, who plays the character of Sunil Dutt, in the Ranbir Kapoor starrer film.

At one of the previous events, Sanjay Dutt had shared, “I miss my parents, I miss my father and mother. If they would have been here they would have been proud of me, I guess. There is no one bigger than your parents. I miss them."
