Has Alia Bhatt been roped in for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next with Shah Rukh and Salman Khan?

Sanjay Leela Bhansali has finally moved on from his superhit pairing with Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. They appeared in three films together - Goliyon Ki Rasleela: Ram Leela, Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat. The director has now found a fresh casting in Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. If reports are to be believed then his lead actress too might be Alia Bhatt.

A report on Times Of India claims that the actress has been approached for the role. They also mention that even though the actress has been approached, she is yet to give a confirmation and sign the dotted line. She has worked with Shah Rukh Khan previously in Dear Zindagi but it would be her first time of working with Salman if she does sign the film.

The actress already has two period films in her kitty - Kalank and Takht. While Kalank is produced by Karan Johar, the filmmaker grabs the director's chair for Takht. Even though Takht is yet to go on floors, Kalank is almost ready to be showcased to the public. The teaser of this film, starring Varun Dhawan, Sanjay Dutt, Aditya Roy Kapur, Madhuri Dixit-Nene and Sonakshi Sinha in pivotal roles with Alia, would be out on Tuesday morning.

Meanwhile it is being reported that Bhansali also has another movie in mind which would star his third favourite actress - Priyanka Chopra. The film is supposedly titled Gangubai. Priyanka appeared in a dance number in Goliyon Ki Rasleela: Ram Leela and played the full-fledged role of Kashibai in Bajirao Mastani.
