Gold trailer: Mouni Roy makes her presence felt in Akshay Kumar's historical sports drama

The trailer of Akshay Kumar 's Independence Day release Gold is out. The trailer of the patriotic sports drama will not only evoke patriotism, but also leave you spellbound.

Undoubtedly the film is a downright Akshay Kumar film but supported by a stellar cast including Kunal Kapoor, Amit Sadh, and debutant Mouni Roy.

Mouni Roy, who is playing Akshay Kumar's wife in the Reema Kagti directorial, has made her presence felt in whatever screen space she has been given. Despite very little screen-time in the trailer, TV's Naagin has made a mark. Standing tall against Akshay Kumar, she has proved that she isn't a big name in every household for no reason. 

Her few seconds dialogue in the trailer reveals how crucial her part is in the film. 

With aplomb and finesse she delivers the dialogue in Bengali, and it is nothing but mesmerizing. 

Marking her debut with Gold, Mouni has beautifully slipped into her character and we can't wait to see her in the film! Her strong dialogue delivery and stunning Bengali look in a green and gold saree, is bewitching.

Mouni Roy's charm and acting skills have won hearts on the small screen, and now she is all set to conquer the silver screen.Apart from Gold, Mouni Roy has two other films in her kitty. 

She has scored a role in Ayan Mukherji directorial Brahmastra which also stars bigshots including Amitabh Bachchan, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. 

Mouni is also going to star opposite John Abraham in RAW- Romeo Akbar Walter.
