Bollywood's latest couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are getting to spend a lot of time with each other these days, thanks to the Ayan Mukerji-directed adventure-fantasy 'Brahmastra'. They arrive on the sets in the same car to ensure they make most of this time. But it doesn't seem to be enough for the two! You see, they are surrounded by a lot of people on the sets where it is not possible for them to have heart-to-heart conversations and hence, Ranbir Kapoor decided to whisk off his lady love to South Bombay for a quiet lunch date on Friday.

"Bollywood's newest power couple was spotted arriving at restaurateur Gauri Devidayal’s posh eatery in Colaba around 2 pm and left after an hour," Mumbai Mirror reported. Ranbir was dressed casually in a white T-shirt and a pair of blue denims while Alia was in salwar kameez.

“They ordered truffle fries, pork belly buns, scrambled eggs and duck salad,” an eye-witness present at the restaurant informed the daily.

Ranbir made their relationship official just recently but if a source close to the actor is to be believed then RK had asked Alia out on New Year's Eve last year when they were shooting for their film Brahmastra in Bulgaria. It's quite believable as Ranbir's mother Neetu Kapoor had later made a surprise visit to the film's sets on Alia's 25th birthday on March 15. The Mumbai Mirror report further suggests that Ranbir had himself announced the news to his soccer mates, upon his return to Mumbai.

On Wednesday, Ranbir's sister Riddhima and niece Samara also paid a visit to their sets at Mehboob studio. According to the report, Alia really enjoyed her time with them and also clicked selfies with the seven-year-old.
