Did Ranbir Kapoor and Mahira Khan really meet in London? Here’s the truth

It was only last year that Ranbir Kapoor and Mahira Khan's pictures from New York had broken the internet and their cross-border friendship became the talk of the town. Moreover, Mahira had to face a lot of backlash for wearing a short dress and smoking along with Ranbir.

But in January, DNA told you about their friendship going kaput. However, when Ranbir stopped over in London on his way back from Bulgaria after wrapping up the schedule of Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra, and Mahira also found her way to the city for a promotional event, it did not take much time for rumours to resurface that the two celebrities caught up with each other for old times’ sake. 

But, contrary to reports, Ranbir did not meet Mahira in London. As per a report in PinkVilla, Ranbir was in London for his personal work and Mahira was back to Pakistan by the time, Ranbir got to the English capital. 
 
Well, we guess, that put all rumours of Ranbir and Mahira rekindling their friendship to rest. 

For the unversed, in a statement, Ranbir came out in support of Mahira and had said, "I've gotten to know Mahira in a personal capacity over the last few months. She is somebody who I admire and respect, for her achievements and even more for the person she is. It is very unfair the way she is being judged and spoken about. What is also said is the inequality in judgment just because she is a woman. I request you to stop the negativity and move on with your beautiful god gifted lives. Peace and Love." He further added, "PS: Both smoking and hate are injurious to health."
