'De De Pyaar De' trailer: Ajay Devgn 'split' between 26-year-old girlfriend Rakul Preet and ex-wife Tabu in this romcom

The trailer of Ajay Devgn starrer out-and-out comedy film, De De Pyaar De is out! The trailer starts with Ajay, a 50-year-old man named Ashish consulting a counsellor after having a one night stand with a 26-year-old girl played by Rakul Preet Singh. After their moment, Ajay falls in love with her and psychiatrist questions him about falling for a girl who is 24 years younger than. Age being no hindrance, Ajay and Rakul have an affair.

Then comes the meet the parents time! Ajay, who is a divorcee gets invited by his daughter for a family outing with his parents and ex-wife played by none other than Tabu. During a stay with his family, Rakul joins him and then the rollercoaster ride starts. From advances by his ex-wife to his son asking about Rakul, Ajay faces it all! Like shown in the poster, Ajay is 'Split' between two beautiful women, Tabu and Rakul with his family adding fuel to the fire.

De De Pyaar De marks the directorial debut of Akiv Ali. The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg.

It's surprising to see that Alok Nath has been roped in to play the role of Ajay's father-in-law in the film. 

From the first look which was shared two years back to the trailer, De De Pyaar De does look like an interesting rom-com. The film is slated to release on May 17, 2019.
