Dadasaheb Phalke Excellence Awards 2018: Ekta Kapoor to be awarded for her outstanding work in films and TV

Producer Ekta Kapoor is all set to receive Dadasaheb Phalke Excellence Award for the most inspiring icon of the year ( Television and Films ). Ekta Kapoor will be felicitated today by the Mumbai-based Dadasaheb Phalke Foundation for her inspiring and outstanding work in both Television and films.

She will receive the prestigious award at a venue in the suburbs of western Mumbai. Producer Ekta Kapoor has been in the industry since she was only 19 years old and has achieved several milestones all by herself. She is known for dominating India's Television Industry with her super hit shows and successful films.

Ekta Kapoor has been a recipient of many prestigious awards and civic honours earlier too. Ekta has helped and launched the careers of many actors and actresses both in films and television. With Dadasaheb Phalke Excellence Award for the most inspiring icon of the year, Ekta Kapoor has added another feather to her cap.
