Can't just pick someone and start dating: Mouni Roy SLAMS her relationship rumours

Even before entering movies, Mouni Roy had always been in news for her relationship status. She was previously linked to actor Mohit Raina. Together, they became a successful couple on the show 'Devon Ke Dev: Mahadev'. However Mouni cleared her stance by claiming that she and Mohit are 'not even friends'. The actress is currently rumoured to be dating her Brahmastra director Ayan Mukerji. Mouni went on record and clarified that she is single.

In an interview with Mumbai Mirror, Mouni opened up about relationships and said, “People who matter know I'm single and it's not about shortage of time because you can compartmentalise your life. But I need to meet the right person, I can't just pick someone and start dating.”

Mouni is currently not just a well-known name on TV but is also making her mark in Bollywood. She added, “At the moment I'm grateful for this window (movies) that has opened in my life. I don't think I should throw it away by not giving my 100 per cent to it.”

The actress made her Bollywood debut with Akshay Kumar's Gold. Mouni then appeared in the item song 'Galli Galli' in Yash's movie KGF: Chapter 1. She has now bagged Romeo Akbar Walter with John Abraham, Brahmastra with Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt-Amitabh Bachchan and Made In China with Rajkummar Rao. Her name has also popped up for Mogul, the biopic on music mogul Gulshan Kumar. If she is actually roped in for the film, then the actress might also get an opportunity to work with Aamir Khan.
