Saif Ali Khan was papped striking a pose twice - first with Kareena and then with Sara at the #DeepVeer reception
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's Mumbai reception for their friends from the tinsel town was a star studded affair. The who's who from not just the B-Town, but also from the world of sports and business were present at Mumbai's Grand Hyatt hotel on Saturday, December 1, 2018 to celebrate along with the newly wed couple. Saif Ali Khan too made an appearance along with wife Kareena Kapoor Khan. Saif's daughter Sara Ali Khan had already reached the venue before him and had even posed for the paparazzi. Now, rumour mills are busy churning that Kareena apparently didn't come forward to pose for pictures with Sara and Saif.
What actually happened was, soon after Saif and Kareena made an entry and posed for the paps, they were joined by Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Kemmu for pictures. The four of them were seen striking a pose together as well. They took an exit from the photo-op area after obliging the paps with pics.
But the photographers started shouting Sara's name, asking Saif to pose with his daughter too. After a while, Saif and Sara made an appearance together and obliged the photogs. What started grabbing the eyeballs of certain naysayers is that Kareena didn't accompany Said and Sara for the pics. Some of the netizens even went ahead to share that Kareena refused to pose with Sara Ali Khan.
Well, while haters may like to believe otherwise, we're certain that all's quite well between Sara and Kareena. On her debut appearance on Koffee With Karan 6, Sara had shared some insights about the bond that she shares with Kareena, making it clear that there's nothing awkward there. In fact, Sara even revealed that they share a friendly equation and she feels Kareena would have a nervous breakdown if she called her 'Chhoti Maa'.
