Shabana Azmi has cancelled her annual Holi party in the wake of sudden demise of veteran actor Sridevi. 

"Our Holi party at Janki Kurir stands cancelled on March 2 in the wake of Sridevi;s passing away," Azmi tweeted. The actor was one of the first celebrities to visit Anil Kapoor's residence after the news broke.

The Dubai police on Monday released the forensic report of veteran actor Sridevi, who died in a hotel here on February 24. According to the local media, the forensic report, which has been given to her family and the representative of Indian Consulate, is expected to reveal the exact cause of her death. Earlier, there were reports that suggested that there could be a further delay in handing over the mortal remains of the actress to her family, in case some inconsistencies are found in the toxicology reports. The 54-year-old reportedly had a fainting spell in the bathtub of her hotel room and was immediately rushed to Rashid Hospital in Dubai.
Sources in the Indian Consulate said that she was brought dead to the hospital.

Earlier, after Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor had also cancelled their song shoot for their upcoming film 102 Not Out as a mark of respect for Sridevi. Rani Mukerji also deceided to shelve song launch for her upcoming film, Hichki. The makers of Hichki said in an offical statement which reads, "In light of Sridevi Kapoor's untimely demise, we are deferring the Hichki Imagica song launch activity. We will update on alternate date and time for the same."

The untimely death of Sridevi has left the Indian film industry in shock with many Bollywood celebrities expressing their grief on social media.
