Arjun Kapoor slams report of his 'assault' on sets of 'Sandeep Aur Pinki Faraar'

Several media reports have been doing the rounds since Thursday claiming that Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor was assaulted during the shooting of his film, Sandeep Aur Pinki Faraar in Pithoragarh district. Quashing all rumours, Arjun took to social media to clarify that he doesn’t have any clue of such happening.

According to reports, a driver from Chamoli in Uttarakhand allegedly manhandled the actor as the drunken man managed to reach out Arjun in the latter’s vanity van where he tried to twist his hand.  The report further suggested that as things went out of control, police and other security personnel nabbed him and arrested him for attempt to assault. Apparently, his driving license was also cancelled and he was slapped a fine of Rs 500 on the driver for violating the driving rules. 

The Ishaqzaade actor took to Twitter to slam the report and admitted that while there was a disturbance off camera but it didn’t reach him. He also revealed that his entire family was in panic after reading the report. His tweet read, ''How come I have no clue about this happening? The crowd here has been peaceful. There might have been a disturbance off camera but the local force has never let it reach till me. My entire family was in panic this morning so using words like assault isn't cool just for effect."
