Recently, there were reports that Akshay Kumar will be seen replacing Salman Khan as the host of popular reality TV show, Bigg Boss, in its 11th season. However, turns out that the reports were not entirely true. 

What's actually turned out to be true is that Akshay will be seen judging a show on Television but it's not Bigg Boss 11. Khiladi Kumar will be seen as a judge on The Great Indian Laughter Challenge. 

A source informed Mumbai Mirror, "Once Akshay is done with the international shoot of Gold, his comedy show will replace Remo D’Souza’s Dance Plus 3 on Star Plus as its format is somewhat similar to the talent hunt show which is on air currently.”

The source further told the tabloid, "Besides Akshay it has three popular comedians playing mentors to the contestants but he will have the final say on who goes ahead in the competition. Discussions are on with leading comedians who will play mentors but no names have been finalised yet.” 

Well, a lot of superstars are set to rule the TV space it seems, Amitabh Bachchan is to be back with Kaun Banega Crorepati and Salman Khan will be seen hosting Bigg Boss 11 and now with Akshay Kumar too joining them, looks like it's raining stars on TV...
