We already know that Salman Khan is the best friend anyone could ask for and the worst enemy to deal with in b-town. It doesn't matter if you are Arijit Singh, the singer with maximum hits and voice of almost all the actors in Bollywood but not Bhaijaan.

Seems Arijit lost out another song in Salman Khan film. It is rumoured that he is been unreasonably replaced by Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan for a song in 'Welcome To New York'. The film which stars Sonakshi Sinha and Diljit Dosanjh in the lead but also has Salman Khan in a cameo. Rumour mills are abuzz that makers are considering Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s voice which will sound better than Arjit for song in their film.

But it brings back the memories of Salman Khan's 2016 Sultan.

The duo had a public fall-out when Arijit talked about how his voice was replaced by Pak singer at the last minute. It all started back in 2013, when Arijit in the name of humour had upset Salman at an awards show saying, “Kya sir sula diya aapne?” This doesn't seem to have gone down well with the superstar as since then he hasn't used Arijit Singh's voice for any of his films. In 2016, Arijit had got to sing a song in Salman 'Sultan' Khan film but later he told media his song was dropped from the album at the last minute. He told news agency, "Vishal called to say Salman sir also liked the song. I thought everything was okay. I planned to dedicate the song to Salman sir after the release, go to his house and thank him. Then I got an sms from Vishal Dadlani. He informed me that my song couldn’t be kept in ‘Sultan’. Vishal said Salman sir had forgiven me, but I couldn’t sing for him."

Arijit even issued a public apology on Facebook begging Salman to retain his song in the film but Salman chose to ignore it.  He wrote, “No problem I apologize here in front of everyone but please it is a request please do not remove the song that I sang for you in Sultan. You want anyone else to sing this song, absolutely fine but keep a version at least. I have sung enough songs sir. But I want to retire with at least one song of you keeping in my library. Please do not take away this feeling."

Only time will tell if Salman Khan will ever let Arijit Singh croon a song for his film.
