After 'Golmaal Again' fireworks this year, Akshay Kumar promises to make you laugh with 'Housefull 4' on Diwali 2019

Talk about successful franchises in comedy genre and Ajay Devgn 'Golmaal' series and Akshay Kumar's Housefull franchise comes to mind instantly.

So just like 100 crore hit 'Golmaal Again' which is making moolah and making audience happy since Diwali this year, Akshay Kumar promises a laugh riot for Diwali 2019. Producer Sajid Nadiadwala confirmed the release date of the film while the star cast is yet to be announced.  According to the makers' official statement, the film will revolve around the theme of reincarnation, which seems to be apt in the case of director Sajid Khan. 

Sajid Khan who has been the filmmaker behind 'Housefull' franchise right from the first film was replaced in part 3 with Farhad-Sajid but now getting reincarnation of sorts, Farah Khan's brother is back in the director's chair once again. Riteish Deshmukh and Akshay Kumar have been a permanant feature and are expected to be in part four as well.

"Housefull is franchise of fun and fourth instalment will be the biggest 'Housefull' that we have made till now. I am happy to be back with Sajid Khan who directed the first two parts of the film. We have a funny thematic twist in the fourth part as the plot is that of reincarnation," said the film's producer Sajid Nadiadwala.
