For months, there has been a lot of speculation about Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s impending marriage. While initial reports stated that the couple would have a destination wedding, the recent buzz was that they might tie the knot in Mumbai. But now, another actor friend tells us, “Ranveer and Deepika are getting married this November. The preparations have begun and they could in all probability have a destination wedding in Italy.” The two actors have always been private about their relationship and despite dating for over five years now, they haven’t admitted to being together in the media.

Another source tells us, “Deepika and Ranveer don’t want excessive media glare on their marriage. Earlier on, there was talk that the Switzerland government was keen to host their wedding. Ranveer is the brand ambassador for Swiss Tourism. So, a section of the media kept this theory alive. However, now we hear that the superstar couple wants an exotic location for their D-Day and this time around, the Italian government, too, has shown interest in their marriage.” Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli also chose Italy for their nuptials. They tied the knot in the picturesque Tuscany on December 11 last year.

Sonam K Ahuja and Anand Ahuja’s wedding was also meant to be hosted by a foreign country. Reportedly, the modalities didn’t work out because the contingent meant to be travelling was huge, so the two families ultimately ditched the thought. Eventually, Sonam and Anand got hitched in Mumbai on May 8 with the biggest Bollywood stars descending on the red carpet that led to their wedding mandap.
