Aayush Sharma is required to have a complete physical transformation for his turn as an army officer in his next project, Karan Butani’s Kwatha. We told you earlier that the Loveyatri actor has been undergoing bootcamp training and has hit the gym with a vengeance — indulging in rope climbing, lifting heavy weights, etc, for his role in the movie that’s based on true events. Aayush is leaving no stone unturned to get the mannerism as well as the look right.

Now, we have learnt that he has also added Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) to his regime and has joined Tiger Shroff’s studio. Aayush tells us, “My character is a disciplined and fearless man who fights like a warrior. MMA requires dedication and hard work and it is helping me understand action and discipline better. I want to give my role everything that it demands.” Since the project, also starring Katrina Kaif’s sister Isabelle Kaif, requires him to perform intense stunts and routines, Tiger’s studio was the best option to hit, according to Aayush. “Tiger is one of the finest actors when it comes to action. He has always excelled in whatever forms he has attempted. So, I couldn’t think anyone better than him and his studio to train at,” Aayush states. To make the action scenes impeccable, he has been attending the sessions regularly, even after work hours. “Every day, I spend four hours on the regime — two hours of weight training and MMA each,” Aayush informs us.
