Aamir Khan has created history. His last release Dangal has not only become the first Bollywood film to cross the Rs 1000 crore mark at the global box office but it's also soon going to go past the 2 billion mark.

While Baahubali 2's gross collections worldwide stand at around Rs 1661 crore till date, Aamir's Dangal has overtaken the SS Rajamouli directorial and has recorded GBOC of Rs 1880 crore already. The film is inching towards the 1900 crore mark and it should be happening in the next two days for sure.

The film released across the world on December 23 and surpassed all pre-existing records. While the Hindi version itself netted around Rs 380 crore plus at the BO, the total gross before the China release stood at Rs 744.50 crore.

Now, Dangal was released in China over a month back and it has turned out to be one of the biggest foreign blockbusters in the neighbouring country. It has become the second highest grossing foreign film already. The film has collected Rs 1097.36 crore alone from the Chinese markets, which is even more than what it has grossed from other parts of the world cumulatively.

Along with this, the film which released in Taiwan too has been performing well there. It has added another Rs 38 crore from Taiwan, taking its worldwide gross total to a whopping Rs 1879.86 crore. Now, that's HUGE!!!
