As Bakrid approaches, Mohammad MD Ibrahim's deadline to get a goat to sacrifice it in the name of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is also drawing near. He claims to send the goat to an agent in Mumbai who sacrifices it in the name of King Khan during Bakrid.

Ibrahim claims that a small portion of the sacrificed animal does go to Khan. He said he had been sending goats and sheep to Mumbai for the past two years. He said past year, he had sent a goat to Mumbai for the actor at a cost of `5 lakh. He said the goat was special as it had a crescent moon-shaped scar on its forehead, adding that the agent who sacrificed it had specifically asked for that goat.

Ibrahim breeds goats and sheep for Id every year at Goripalya. This year, he plans to send 22 goats to Mumbai for Shah Rukh Khan’s fans. “It costs me around five to seven lakh rupees to send them,” he said.

These animals are fed cashews, almonds and even pista to add enough lard, which makes the goat grow big. “There is a lot of lard and muscle in them. This is what our clients want. We feed each of them two eggs and two litres of milk every day along with fodder for 25 days. Each animal is around 100 kilos,” he said.
