Jayanagar on top, E-city comes last in survey

If you are looking for a place to reside in Bangalore, Jayanagar is the best. A DNA-AZ Research Partners survey among Bangalore residents has found Jayanagar to be the most liveable locality in the city.

Jayanagar has been voted the best on all parameters evaluated which were: infrastructure and medical facilities, entertainment (restaurants, shopping malls etc), healthy and safe living conditions, educational facilities and housing facilities.

Jayanagar was followed by Koramangala, Indiranagar, Malles-waram, HRBR Layout, JP Nagar, Banashankari, BTM Layout, Central Business District and Yelahanka, in that order, to comprise the best 10 liveable localities of Bangalore out of 28 surveyed.

Interestingly, Jayanagar has jumped up two slots to take the numero uno position. Last year’s survey voted Indiranagar as the best liveable locality followed by HRBR Layout, Jayanagar (including JP Nagar and Banashankari),  Malles-waram (including Sadashivnagar) and Koramangala.
