The Karnataka High court on Friday ordered that the Lokayukta special court be shifted to Parappana Agrahara jail premises on the outskirts of the city.
The Lokayukata special court, headed by Judge NK Sudhindra Rao, has been trying cases under the Prevention of Corruption Act.
On March 7, Chief Justice Vikramajit Sen had told Home Minister R Ashoka that there would be designated places for the media to cover court proceedings in the wake of the violence in the court premises last week and also a proposal to shift the Special CBI and Special Lokayukta courts to Parappana Agrahara central jail premises.
