Sacked bar worker stabs three colleagues

Three people were stabbed by a colleague in Motappanapalya in Indiranagar police station limits in the wee hours of Monday.

The injured have been identified as Arivalagan, Syed Sahudani, and David Antony. Arivalagan and Sahudani are undergoing treatment at a hospital while Antony was treated as an out patient. The accused Rocky R Gomes is absconding after the incident and the police are on the lookout for him.

According to the police, all the four were working in a bar located on Indiranagar 100 ft Road and were staying in a house in Motappanapalya. On Sunday, Antony was staying in the house as it was his day off and the others left for work in the afternoon. In the bar, there was a quarrel between Arivalagan and Gomes and the former complained to the manager Shibu against Gomes. Following this, the manager sacked Gomes.
"After the work, Arivalagan and Sahudani were returning home. When they were passing near Maha bar and restaurant on fifth main in Motappanapalya, Gomes waylaid the duo and started quarreling with

Arivalgana and Sahudani that they were responsible for him losing the job. Then he took out a knife and stabbed the duo. Meanwhile, Antony, who was talking over mobile phone and walking there, rushed to their help and even he was allegedly stabbed by Gomes, who fled the scene later. The trio managed to go to hospital," the police added.
Indiranagar police have registered a case in this connection and are on the lookout for the accused.
