Be it facing bowling machine that hurl tennis balls at you at great speed or laser tagging your opponents, there is something for everyone between the age of eight to 80 years to indulge in this sport and adventure complex at Sarjapur Road.

Play, a sports and adventure destination that offers more than 30 different activities to choose from—ranging from conventional sports like soccer and cricket to unconventional ones like archery and laser tag—was inaugurated on Thursday by minister for sports and youth services, K Abhayachandra Jain.

With the price for activities ranging from Rs80 to Rs350, one can indulge in indoor activities like bowling, shooting or try their hands on a car simulator or flight simulator.  Quad biking, paintball, skating, water games, climbing and zorbing are some of the other activities.

The facility also has the city’s only full swing golf simulator, bouldering facility and Segway track along with an artificial turf for football, approved by FIFA.

“Television and video games have led to poor social and athletic skills among today’s youth and is contributing to childhood obesity. Parents should encourage youngsters to participate in more outdoor activities,” said Sharath Reddy, managing director, Play.

This is a one-stop destination for sports and adventure, and it will also provide professional coaching for all activities with dedicated time slots in the morning and evening, he added.
The facility will remain open from 10.30 am to 10.30 pm on all days and packages are offered for individuals, groups and corporates.
