A cash loader of ATM machines has allegedly made off with Rs 31lakh from various disposing units of different branches. A complaint has been lodged with Paldi police. The accused had the access to the secret codes of the ATM lockers. He would sneak into the ATMs after his duty got over and open the lockers using the passwords.

A complaint was lodged by Sasipal Yadva, 30, the manager of Brisk Indian Private Company, which provides services to banks about security, loading cash at ATMs, facility management and manpower supply. The company operates from located in Dharnidhar.

Bank officials found cash missing from ATMs during an audit of banks on March 18. Swiftly reacting to it, an official reported the private company and, during a probe, it was found thta the accused had broken into 25 ATMs and stolen Rs31.3lakh.

The accused has been identified as Narendra Jadhav,40, a resident of Bhemrampura. "The company had given the six-digit code to money loaders, through which they get access to the ATM locker. Jadhav had gained the trust of his colleague and even gained the six-digit code from him," BS Rabari, inspector of Paldi police station said.
