Human Resource Development Minister Prakash Javadekar urged engineering students on Friday to bring solutions to make examinations leakproof.

Javadekar was addressing more than one lakh students of 1,200 colleges participating in the grand finale of Smart India Hackathon 2018 being held at 28 nodal centres across the country.

Javadekar appealed to students through video conferencing: "This (the leak issue) is not a subject of this year's Smart India Hackathon but, after this event, accept this as a challenge and work on a solution for fool-proof examination. Though Google, WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter, etc., have not been invented in India, there have been Indian brains behind all these innovations. There are many such digital innovations that are wealth creators and India, too, needs to come out with such innovations."
