According to the son’s allegation, Manisha had an extramarital affair with a Mukesh, who used to visit their house regularly
In a heartwrenching case where a mother allegedly tortured her two sons to be with her lover, a complaint was lodged with the Amraiwadi police station on Tuesday. The complaint was filed by a 14-year-old Sunil (name changed), who is the eldest of the two sons.
The police have nabbed both accused, identified as Manisha Parmar and Mukesh Shrivani, from the Amraiwadi area. The case is under investigation.
According to the complaint, Sunil had been living with his mother, Manisha, and his younger brother Raj (6) in a house in Amraiwadi. Around three months ago, after his father, Kaushal Parmar committed suicide, his mother was looking after the boys.
According to the son's allegation, Manisha had an extramarital affair with a Mukesh, who used to visit their house regularly. Every time he visited, Manisha would beat both her sons, and would tie them to a gas cylinder or lock them on the terrace.
She also used to beat them regularly, and force them to perform 100 sit-ups if they showed up in the room where she and Mukesh were sitting. There were times when Mukesh, too, would beat them, and abuse them if they cried and entered their room.
One day, Sunil narrated the entire incident to his uncle, who took them to his house and, later lodged a complaint against Manisha and Mukesh.
OM Desai, Inspector, Amraiwadi police station, said, "Both the children are scared of staying with their mother and are living at their uncle's house."
