Low-level radioactive wind from a quake-stricken nuclear power reactor in northern Japan could reach Tokyo within 10 hours, based on current winds, the French embassy said in a statement on Tuesday.
The statement, posted on its Japanese Web site, urged French citizens in the city to stay indoors, close the windows and not to panic.
