#WomenWhoVoteTrump became a trending hashtag on Twitter on Friday, as women shared why they still back US presidential candidate Donald Trump despite the several allegations of inappropriate conduct towards women.

A total of eight of women have accused the US Republican nominee of sexual advances and groping. The stories of the first two women who came forward was published in The New York Times. Trump said the claims were "absolutely false" and has threatened to sue the paper for the false allegations.

In a letter on Thursday, The New York Times attorney David McCraw said, "Nothing in our article has had the slightest effect on the reputation that Mr. Trump, through his own words and actions, has already created for himself," he wrote.

Two new accusations were made on Thursday by Summer Zervos, a contestant on Trump's reality TV show The Apprentice, who cited a 2007 incident, and Kristin Anderson, who told the Washington Post in video interview of an incident in a nightclub in the early 1990s.

On October 9, during the second presidential debate, Trump said he was embarrassed by the lewd remarks about women he made in a 2005 video. Calling it "locker room talk", he denied engaging in the conduct described in it. His denial prompted many of the women to come forward and share their story.

However, hundreds of women have taken to Twitter to share why they will still vote for Trump, regardless of the accusations. Here's a sampling:

Trump's wife Melania, tweeted a letter from her lawyer demanding a retraction from one of the women, a reporter Natasha Stoynoff,  who claims Trump kissed her without her consent in 2005 at his Florida home Mar-a-Lago, while she was there for People magazine to interview him and his wife who was pregnant at the time. In a first-person account, published on October 12 by People, she said "he was pushing me against the wall and forcing his tongue down my throat".
