Only two weeks in the White House and new US President Donald Trump is already facing over 50 lawsuits filed against him.

According to Statista, an online statistics portal, that is 10 times the average of the three presidents who preceded Trump put together. According to Forbes, Trump's predecessors Bill Clinton and Barack Obama had to deal with only five lawsuits each in their first two weeks, while George W Bush had only four.

The following chart by Statista shows the number of lawsuits filed against US presidential administrations in their first two weeks:

The majority of the lawsuits filed are against Trump's controversial executive order banning citizens from seven Muslim-majority nations from entering the United States (US). Seattle federal judge James Robart on Friday recently put a nationwide block on the order, which did not sit well with the new POTUS.

Doctors, students, professors, refugees and Iraqis who worked with the US military filed lawsuits against Trump's travel ban in 17 states, according to PACER data published by NPR.

Statista reveals 40 lawsuits were against the travel ban, nine were related to civil rights and four were about general immigration. Trump also faces a lawsuit about his financial conflicts of interest and blocking federal funds to sanctuary cities.

The following chart by Statista shows lawsuits against Trump's policies broken down by topic:

If the lawsuits keep coming, Trump could take the prize for most sued US president in history.
