At least 50 people were killed and 400 wounded more than 400 in Las Vegas shooting on Monday (October 1, 2017). The gunman identified as 64-year-old American man, Stephen Paddock, killed himself before police entered the hotel room he was shooting from.

Dallas, Texas, July 7, 2017

 Five Dallas police officials were killed and seven injured after a member of US Army Reserve, turned into a killing spree.  The shooting ended after police used a robot carrying a bomb to kill the shooter.

Orlando, 12 June 2016

A gunman killed at least 50 people were killed  and as many as 53 were wounded at a packed gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida on June 12, 2016.

The shooter was identified as Omar S Mateen, a Florida resident who a senior FBI official and was believed to  have had leanings towards Islamic State militants. 

San Bernardino, December 2, 2015

Around 14 people were killed and 22 injured after Syed Rizwan Farook and his wife, Tashfeen Malik opened fire on a holiday gathering of Farook's co-workers at a government building in San Bernardino on December 2, 2015.

The 28-year-old, US-born son of Pakistani immigrants, and Malik, 29, a Pakistani native, died in a shootout with police four hours after the massacre.

Roseburg, Oregon, October 1, 2015

A gunman was shot dead by the police after he opened fire and killed ten people at Umpqua Community College in Orogon on October 1, 2015.

The gunman was identified as 26-year-old Chris Harper Mercer was enrolled in the writing class of the college.

Chattanooga, Tennesse, July 15, 2015

Four US Marines were killed by a gunman who opened fire at two military offices in Chattanooga, Tennessee, before being fatally shot on July 15, 2015.

The shooter was identified as 24-year-old Muhammod Youssuf Abdulazeez. 

Charleston, S.C., July 17, 2015

A disgruntled employee who fatally shot one person and held another hostage in Charleston on July 17, 2015 at a restaurant in downtown Charleston, South Carolina, was shot by police.

October 24, 2014, Marysville, Washington

A student opened fire in the cafeteria of his Washington state high school on October 24, 2014 in  Marysville, Washington killing four people before taking his own life.

The shooter was identified as 15-year-old Jaylen Ray Fryberg.

Washington, DC, September 16, 2013

A former reservist working at Washington Navy Yard opened fire with a shotgun and killed 12 people before being shot down by the police. 

Sandy Hook, December 14, 2012

A gunman killed his mother before going on a killing spree at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut on December 12, 2012. 

The suspect identified as Adam Lanza killed around 20 children and 14 adults before being shotdown by a police fire.

Virginia, April 16, 2007

A gunman slaughters 32 people and kills himself at Virginia Tech, a university in Blacksburg, Virginia.

Washington, DC, October 2002

Around 10 people were killed after two men ambush 13 people in a string of sniper-style shootings that terrorize the Washington area.

Columbine, April 20, 1999

Two students dressed in black trenchcoats and carrying four guns opened fired, killing 13 people and wounding 24 in Columbine High School before killing themselves.
