WATCH: New featurette for 'The Defenders' shows how superheroes band together

The new footage that makes part of Marvel's The Defenders' new featurette in which actors talk about what their superhero avatars are doing is amazing.

Released a few days ahead of the August 18 premiere of The Defenders, the featurette includes Charlie Cox (Matt Murdock/Daredevil), Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones), Mike Colter (Luke Cage), and Finn Jones (Danny Rand/Iron Fist). The clip showcases some new scenes which may serve as spoilers. Warning those who wish to avoid them.

These supers will fight against Sigourney Weaver's Alexandra who leads a sinister organisation called The Hand. In the video, Finn Jones described the organisation, "These people are incredibly dangerous. They’re incredibly evil."

Charlie Cox adds that these extra ordinary people realise that the only chance to save New York City will manifest if they work together.

Some wisecrack remarks embellish the action packed clip and in Krysten Ritter's words, "seeing all four of these characters together is epic."
