Ankita Lokhande's mother-in-law, Vikki Jain's mother, Ranjana Jain, has given some strong statements against the actress. In one of the media interactions, Ranjana said that the family was against their marriage, and she also said, 'heroine ko paana aasan nahi'. Now Ankita's friend Rashami Desai stood in support of Ankita and hit back at Vikki's mom.
Rashami shared a story on her Instagram with a clip of Ranjana's interview and wrote a long note. Rashami wrote, "(I'm) M sorry aunty. She never wanted to do this show. She did it for her love for @realvikasjainn. And Kharche palna padta hai ka kya Matlab hua aunty? They both had love marriage and use pehle bhi wo road par nahi thi. She's Anakita Lokhande. Ankita Lokhande was shocked after hearing that Vikki's father dragged her late father
In the latest episode, Vicky's mom is seen talking about the incident when Ankita kicked Vicky. Sr Jain says, "Jis din tumne laat maari thi na. Papa ne turant tumhari mummy ko phone kiye 'Tum apne pati ko aisi hi laat maarti thi?' (When you kicked Vicky, your father-in-law, called your mom and asked, 'Have you also kicked your husband like that?'). This revelation hurts Ankita because she lost her father recently. The actress quickly expresses her discontent and says, "Mummy ko phone karne ki kya zaroorat thi. Meri maa akeli hai waha. Mere papa ki death hui hai mumma, Aapne mummy-papa ko bolo please (Why was it necessary to call my mom, she's all alone. My father passed away. Please don't drag them in this)." Later Ankita apologised to Ranjana and even her father-in-law for her behaviour with Vikki.
