'I didn't wish to do a fiction TV show': Bhojpuri bombshell Antara Biswas aka Monalisa on why she chose to do 'Nazar'

Popular Bhojpuri actress Antara Biswas aka Monalisa, who became a hosehold name after her stint in Salman Khan hosted controversial reality TV show Bigg Boss 10, is grabbing a lot of eyeballs these days. After setting the screens on fire in the avatar of Jhuma Boudi in Bengali series Dupur Thakurpo 2, Monalisa is all set to leave her fans stunned by playing a daayan (witch) in an upcoming fiction Television show titled Nazar. 

Nazar would be Monalisa's debut Hindi fiction show on the small screen. The actress will be seen playing Mohana (a witch) in the show. Post her Bigg Boss 10 stint, the actress would have been flooded with offers for TV shows, but she chose not to pick any of them. 

Speaking about why he didn't venture into the space of Hindi fiction TV show earlier, Monalisa said in a statement, "Being a popular movie actress, I had never thought of venturing into fiction on the small screen. In fact, I didn't wish to do a fiction show on television until Nazar came my way."

She added, "When I was approached for the show, I found the script extremely appealing and unconventional. Mohana is very distinctive and her aura is mesmerising. The intriguing characteristics of the 'daayan' such as her 'chotti' and her several powers further enticed me to be a part of this supernatural drama."

Now this will be quite interesting to watch!
