'Bigg Boss 11' winner Shilpa Shinde is closely following season 12 and often takes to her social media accounts to express her opinions on the recent happenings inside the house. Recently, she took a sly dig at Bigg Boss 12 contestant Karanvir Bohara by sharing a screenshot of an unseen video in which Karanvir is seen playing with a bra along with co-contestants Rohit Suchanti and Surbhi Rana.
She captioned it, "Naya open letter aanewala Hain.... @beingsalmankhan @BiggBoss #BB12." The actress appeared to be mocking the actor’s wife Teejay for previously writing an open letter to the makers.
For the uninitiated, Teejay had written an open letter to the channel, complaining about the host Salman Khan's apparent rude behaviour towards Karanvir. Salman had even brought this issue up in the house and asked Karanvir if he should stop talking to him at all. The actor had not only apologized to him on his wife's behalf but also clarified that he doesn't mind him pulling his leg.
Reacting to the controversy, Shilpa told iwmbuzz.com, “Don’t I have the right to comment on the world’s best show as a viewer. Also this world’s biggest show is meant for entertainment, why can’t I have some fun? I have never baulked at expressing my opinion till now and don’t plan to start any time soon.”
“As for sentiments I have never said I am God or devi; I will have my opinion which you might or might not like. Also if you have seen the entire video one the contestant said exactly the same thing which I wrote. And here he is being spared, why I am trolled," she added.
Shilpa feels what Karanvir did was absolutely wrong. “What Karanvir did was not wrong, everything is also age appropriate. He needs to understand that he is no longer a young guy any more. Rather he is father of two baby girls, what would they feel if they see their father putting a bra on his head. Had a younger guy among the lot had done, it still would have been fine,” she said.
