Samsung has now launched the Galaxy A9 Star and Galaxy A9 Star Lite in China. The Samsung Galaxy A9 Star is priced at CNY 2,999 (approximately Rs 31,600) and will be available in Black and White colour variants. On the other hand, the Galaxy A9 Star Lite is priced at CNY 1,999 (approximately Rs 21,100) and will be available in Black and Blue colour variants. Both devices will be available for pre-order via the Samsung online store, starting June 14 in China.

In terms of specifications, the Galaxy A9 Star features a 6.28-inch full-HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 18.5:9. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 660 processor, paired with 4GB of RAM. It includes an internal storage of 64GB which can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card.
Running Android 8.0 Oreo, the device comes equipped with a 16MP primary sensor along with a 24MP secondary sensor. The device also features a 24MP front-facing camera. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5 LE and GPS. A 3700mAh battery completes the package.
On the other hand, the Galaxy A9 Star Lite features a 6-inch full-HD+ display. It is powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 450 processor, paired with Adreno 506 GPU. It includes an internal storage of 64GB which can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card.
