If you are a GBoard fan, you will now be able to type out easier than before with a new feature that Google has just added. The 'Floating' option has been added in the GBoard menu and as the name suggests, allows you to move the keyboard at a more convenient location on your smartphone screen while typing, Android Police reported.

To enable, simply head to the GBoard menu and tap on the Floating option. You will be able to undock the keyboard from the bottom of the screen and move it around the screen or resize it. When you are not typing, it turns transparent to show you the background app.

Recently, Google added a new feature to its Gboard keyboard app for iOS and Android that allows you to transform your selfies into cute stickers. The new feature, called Mini, uses a combination of machine learning, neural networks, and artist illustrations to create a custom emoji using your selfie, Engadget reported. It also takes into account your skin tone, hair colour, and eye colour to render the precise emoji.

Access Mini from the Gboard and start by taking a selfie. The feature will automatically create your avatar and generate a pack of stickers you can use in your conversations. It can create up to 100 new sticker styles using your selfies.

Google recently added support for Morse code to its Gboard app for iOS. With support for Morse code, it will become easier for users with limited motion to communicate with just dots and dashes. The new support replaces the usual letters with the coded dots and dashes, and also offers text suggestions for swift typing.

If you are not familiar with the language, Google has also introduced a Morse Typing Trainer web game for Android and iOS that teaches you how to use the input method using Gboard.
